Eng Phys 4X03/6X03: Introduction to Photovoltaics  

A review of photovoltaic devices including solar cell operation, characterization, manufacturing, economics and current and next generation technologies.

Eng Phys 4U02: Modern and Applied Physics Laboratory - Nano- and Micro-devices (Solar)


Students will learn semiconductor device fabrication by constructing and testing a semiconductor device, such as a photovoltaic solar cell.

One lab (Three hours); first term

Prerequisite(s): Registration in the final level of an Engineering Physics program
